Why Annexation and Urban Growth Boundaries actually add to Unaffordable Counter Productive Growth.

As cities grow, the County's budget and their services often shrink. Please enjoy reading this article by Andrea O'Sullivan which is the 3rd in her Rural Reform Series "Curbing Urban Growth Boundaries to Connect Town and Country"By

I will fight and oppose Oregon's annexation of county property into city limits without the affected residents voting on annexation.

I will work to provide infrastructure to rural areas in the county, who wish to pay to be hooked up to wastewater treatment, broadband, and water.

I will work to reverse Klamath County's 90 day emergency foreclosure proceedings which was modeled after an Oregon bill, that failed to be passed.

Many of you moved to Klamath County to own land and be free of most government interference. By the time you payoff your mortgage in 25 or 30 years, taxes often have grown in size in many regions to match your original mortgage. We do not want that to happen here. I believe in minimum government oversight for things like safety, building standards, and services and infrastructure.
