Klamath County Candidate for Commissioner Position #3 Todd Gessele is concerned that Oregon’s Statewide Planning Goals & Guidelines GOAL 11: PUBLIC FACILITIES AND SERVICES OAR 660-015-0000(11) mandates that plans to develop a timely, orderly and efficient arrangement of public facilities and services to serve as a framework for urban and rural development, may not allow populations of 2,500 person to determine whether or not they are annexed into a city by voting for or against annexation. Todd's position is that this decision shouldn't be left up to politicians or state planners, but to the affected residents.

Neither the federal government or state government should be allowed to import illegal immigrants into our county to bump up populations so they can increase the tax base through annexation in rural areas.
